Welcome to the Spring edition!
Wow! I don't know about you but that felt like an extremely long winter and couldn't be happier to welcome the fairer weather (sort of!) and the longer days! Even the birdsong seems more upbeat in the last few weeks. ☀️🌸 Despite the questionable weather over the winter there were so many fantastic highlights including our festive drinks in November, the Rocky Style Bootcamp in January, and our walk and talk in February. A special mention to the whole Gyre Fit Studios community - I am extremely impressed and proud of you all for your commitment to your training and for being so supportive of one another especially through the tougher winter months. It's difficult to remain motivated and disciplined when the weather is rubbish and bugs are doing the rounds... but despite this you all did brilliantly! ⭐ It has also been a busy and productive time behind the scenes at Gyre Fit Studios where plans were hatched and put into place in readiness for an exciting Spring/Summer season. From 5th April we will be at Dance House Studios (part of The Factory Live) for the following classes! 🎉
**NEW CLASS** HIIT + Core on Mondays 17:30-18:30 Starting on the 15th April join me for this high energy fully body workout designed to help you get fitter and stronger with a mixture of cardio, body weight, and core exercises. Class size limited to 8 participants. Pilates for Sport on Mondays 18:45-19:45 Relocating to Dance House Studios from Monday 15th April, this class is a dynamic session based on fundamental Pilates exercises as well as incorporating movements from other training methods to further build core strength, improve muscle balance, proprioception, increase mobility and flexibility for a variety of sports and activities. Class size limited to 8 participants. NB Although you don't need to have practiced Pilates before to take this class, it is slightly more advanced and dynamic than my other Pilates classes. If you are unsure as to whether this class is suitable for your needs, please do contact me and we can have a chat first. **NEW CLASS** Mat Pilates on Wednesdays 11:00-12:00 Starting on the 17th April is an additional beginner/intermediate mat based Pilates class suitable for newbies to Pilates as well as those looking to develop their practice. Mat Pilates on Fridays 09:30-10:30 Relocating to Dance House Studios from the 5th April this is a beginner/intermediate class suitable for newbies to Pilates as well as those looking to develop their practice. Awaken and Refresh
Experience a rejuvenating Spring escape with a perfect blend of Pilates to awaken the body followed by a refreshing mini facial at the beautiful Let's Retreat yurts.
Come join me and Tropic ambassador Mel for this mini retreat starting with a Pilates class in the large yurt (suitable for all levels) followed by a mini facial using Tropic skincare in the little yurt.
While each individual facial is taking place with Mel, I will remain in the large yurt for a Q&A to help you further develop your Pilates practice.

Pilates & Holistic Massage Experience
Sunday 16th June 10:00-13:00 @ Let's Retreat, Angmering Mini Retreat for Body & Mind.
Join Pilates Instructor Amalia and Massage Therapist Jade at the gorgeous Let's Retreat yurts in the beautiful West Sussex countryside and....
Get reconnected with your body through Pilates. Energise and mobilise your body with gentle stretch. Unwind and relax with a mini holistic massage.
The experience will start with a short introduction followed by a 45mins Pilates class suitable for all levels of fitness. We will have a comfort break before we go into the Stretch & Mobility class for 45mins. Both of these classes will take place in the larger yurt.
From about 11.45am Jade will pop into the stretch class and will start to invite each of you for your mini holistic massage in the smaller yurt.
To bring the experience to a close there will be a Q&A session and refreshments.
All equipment will be provided including mats. However do feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer.

And finally....
Gyre Fit Studios is all about holistic wellness and connecting the community socially as well as at classes is a big part of that.
Alongside monthly social get togethers and events, starting Sunday 5th May @ 6.30am there will be a Mindfulness Hour on the Beach.
Something I really enjoy doing over the Spring/Summer months is to get up early on a Sunday and welcome the sun as it rises. Sitting on the beach at Goring (near The Compound where we do outdoor circuits) is usually where I sit just to soak in the scenery and the sound of the sea. It's also great for grounding with the earth too.
Obviously this is weather dependent but the plan, starting 5th May, is to get to the beach for 6.30am and chill for an hour. You are most welcome to join me and just hang out. No need to book or let me know whether you are coming. I will be there. I will, however, let you know if I'm not due to weather or if I'm away. Wishing you all awesome health and happiness!
